Summary: CJ and Donna have a conversation over lunch about Josh, paint colors, and the term 'mi amor'.
Notes: Request from TeddiBear for CJ, Josh, a wall and how the name mi amor originated. I added Donna.

CJ flips through the booklet of samples. "So, Donna, what color did you decide for the walls?"

"Periwinkle. Page seventeen," I respond around a mouthful of salad.

"Nice."

"Yeah. Josh is insisting on calling it blue though. 'Blue walls, Donna. We're painting the walls blue. Periwinkle is sissy!'"

"Periwinkle isn't blue though."

I shrug. "Technically it's blue purple."

"Why can't he call it blue purple?"

"You got me. I gave up trying." I spot him wandering through the bullpen and call," Josh!"

"'Sup?"

"CJ thinks periwinkle's a good choice."

"It's blue."

CJ indicates the paint swatch, "It says periwinkle."

"Blue!" Josh roars.

"You're an idiot mi amor. Go away."

"You bet."

I take another bite of salad and look at CJ thoughtfully. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Why do you call him mi amor?"

She grins. "Jealous?"

"Don't be silly, CJ," I scoff. "You don't have to tell me; I was just curious."

"It's not what you think."

"I'm thinking nothing," I lie. Of course, I'm thinking the worst.

"It was during the campaign. We were discussing volunteers; I said I loved Yumi Morgan. Japanese American and absolutely brilliant at donation cold calling."

"Okay."

"Anyway he got this funny look on his face and told me he was really flattered but he didn't feel that way about me and even if he did, it would be inappropriate."

I grin with relief, "He though you said 'I love you, mi amor?'"

"He did indeed," CJ nods.

"That's so Josh."

She shrugs, "So I mock and ridicule him."

"He deserves it."

With a soft sigh, CJ nods again. "I do love him, Donna. As a brother."

"I know."

"But if it were anything more, it wouldn't matter. He married you."

I look at the ring on my finger and smile. "Yeah."
